Best Practice Bulgaria

One of the leading private high schools in Sofia, Bulgaria organizes programs for problem-solving and creativity skills development as internships. Students work on specific challenges mentored by the teachers. One of the projects was the development of the IT infrastructure of the school when the school moved to its new building.

The team of 11th graders worked with the mentoring by the IT teacher and constructed the plan and the whole hardware and the network. They had to contact the IT and communication providers, make selection and solve the technical and management issues that occurred in the process. The whole process is guided by the team of teachers who also support the decision-making process. There is always a follow-up of what went well and what could be improved, what difficulties and challenges were the toughest to solve.
